Understand how your marketing will affect your website with this simple marketing calculator.

Just by plugging in a few #s you can get traffic estimates, conversion rate analysis, and return on investment. 

This can be used for any type of campaign, it doesn’t have to be purchases … just ignore the $ part when estimating newsletter sign-ups, etc.


Here’s how to use it:

  1. Fill-in the white fields with some estimated values for your site. (Just take a guess.)

  2. Then, change a value to represent an improvement you’ve made in your site or marketing.

For Example: Increase your conversion rate by 3 points to represent a fix to your web site … and watch you orders go up!

 

What each metric means:

Potential Impressions: The number of people you could potentially reach with a message. (Think post, advertisement, email, organic search, etc.)


Impressions Share: The % of those people you think you’ll reach. 

(Example: If 100 people like your Facebook page, but you only reach 50 in a post, that’s a 50% impression share.)


Conversion Rate: The % of site visits that complete a certain action: Purchase, Sign-up, etc.


Average Order Value: Revenue divided by the # of orders


Ad Spend: The cost of getting the traffic and conversions you’re targeting. (Could be ads, email costs, etc.)
